  • Pekin ducks            - Large, white ducks that are active foragers. $12
  • French Guinea fowl - The taste is superb with 12-14 weeks of pasturing. $12

Available year round!  We offer several different sizes of poultry.  We think that our chicken is so good in itself that it is an absolute delight to eat as a perfectly plain, buttery roast, sauté, or grill.

Red/black broilers and Freedom Rangers are derived from the bloodlines of the American heritage and European Label Rouge program. These birds are active foragers and grow slower than hybrid white synthetic broilers.

All are brooded in the barn until 2 - 3 weeks when they are placed in our bottomless pasture pens.  They live on a pasture "salad bar" until they reach processing age.  The birds are fed an all natural feed that contains only natural grain products - no animal by-products or antibiotics.  Their pens are moved daily - sometimes more than twice daily.  Our water is Artesian well water and we are currently making plans for rain water collection.  There are so many interpretations of "free range" that we do not use the term.  Suffice it to say that our poultry is raised in a stockman-like manner with clean water, all-plant feed, green grass, exercise, and sunshine - HOMEGROWN.  All these ingredients go together to produce the best poultry in the universe.  Thanks for stopping by!  Leann
